- A much more refined arcade set as always. That's my goal there in always making it better, adding games that don't work with sets that DO have broken games (FBNeo had a ton of games that didn't work), so those have been added to the MAME section (675+ games). You'll see duplicates for games as the Arcade category ropes in the FBNeo and Mame categories, some games are added to mame to customize your controls easier if you don't like the scheme but did my best to set them up similar to the arcade CPO layouts. Batocera is fully light gun compatible and you can customize options in the menus for each game as well.
-Some new consoles to this image, Super Cassette Vision is pretty cool if I say so myself. My personal favorite is definitely the SNES-MSU1 (which Nintendo was working with Sony for a Playstation CD attachment) and the MD-MSU (Genesis CD) sections. Classic games with CD quality sound, added soundtracks / orchestras and in some cases, cut scenes! Totally awesome new take on what we could of had back then.
-Most of your "best-of" CD libraries are here. The only one I included in-full (1200+ games) was the Playstation as it's the 30th anniversary and deserves the respect as we all definitely had our moments with it.
- MelonDS is now the default emulator for the Nintendo DS. Runs MUCH better. But if you happen to find a game that isnt to your liking, you can hold down on a game, go to advanced settings and change the emualtor to Drastic. You can also change the emulator overall for any system under Game Settings -> Per Advanced System Configuration.
-Retroachievements have been scraped fully. Add your Wifi (may need to change your timezone first in settings), add your accounts and turn on Retroachievements under game settings (Netplay too), and have fun as well as the Netplay aspect! (Add a nickname under settings for that, I personally set it as well to a nearby hub to connect succesfully but that's your own preference)
-As always, most PC categories run well with a joystick and have virtual keyboards by hitting L3, R3, or the select button if it requires input there. ScummVM has some games that do need a keyboard but most games are just point and click with your controller. The Ports section works fully with your controller as well.
